Oliver is a beautifully lifelike sleeping newborn reborn doll with softly closed eyes, delicate lashes and gently parted lips. His fine auburn hair is rooted and sealed by hand, and his cheeks carry the warm, slightly flushed tone of a freshly settled baby.

He arrives in the hand-crocheted sky-blue pram set photographed here, complete with pearl buttons. Every crease, knuckle and tiny toenail is worked by hand, so he reads as a real sleeping baby whether cradled in arms or displayed in a moses basket.
